How does it work?

Fraxel® DUAL laser treatment targets aging and sun-damaged skin with microscopic laser columns that penetrate deep into your skin to accelerate your body’s remodeling of collagen. Since the laser treats only a fraction of tissue at a time, it leaves the surrounding tissue intact, which promotes very rapid healing. This treatment resurfaces your skin by stimulating the growth of new, healthy skin cells from the inside out.

Is this procedure right for me?

Fraxel® DUAL can be used to treat the following skin concerns:

wrinkles

  • age spots

  • melasma

  • actinic keratosis

  • skin resurfacing

  • superficial scars

What to expect

Downtime can be anywhere from 5-7 days. Truly, this depends on a few things like the depth of the treatment chosen by our master aesthetician, the patient’s overall skin health upon receiving the treatment and the compliance with after care instructions.

It is recommended to avoid any sun exposure during the skin’s transition time of 5-7 days, no working out, avoiding saunas, hot tubs and hot showers and following the after care instructions given at the time of treatment.
