If you’re a good candidate for a chemical peel, the treatment can typically be done right after the consultation.

Avoid using any exfoliating products or treatments in the week leading up to your peel, as this can cause irritation or sensitization of the skin.
Discontinue the use of any retinol or prescription-strength skincare products at least one week prior to your peel, as they can increase the risk of adverse reactions.
Stay out of the sun or apply hight SPF in the weeks leading up to your peel, as sun damage can exacerbate the effects of the peel and increase the risk of complications.
