Eyelash Extensions

Eyelash extensions are synthetic eyelash like fibers that are attached to your natural eyelashes in order to make your lash fringe look longer, fuller, and darker. Individual lash extensions are applied to each of your individual natural eyelashes (one extension per natural eyelash) using a semi-permanent medical grade glue. Lash sets are customized to clients preference.

Before Your Appointment

  • Please note that you will not be able to get your lashes wet for 24 hours after the service. Prepare for this by doing the necessary activities (bathing, showering, sweating, steam rooms, hot yoga, etc.) before your appointment. As you will need to refrain from these for 24-48 hours AFTER the lash application.

  • Refrain from consuming caffeine at least two hours before the appointment. Caffeine can affect the involuntary movement of the eyelids.

  • Go to the appointment with clean eyelashes and eyelids (washed with soap, free of makeup residue). This ensures the best base for the extensions to attach and maximizes our time to do your lashes.

  • For a full set of lashes, prepare to lie down for more than two hours on your back, eyes closed. Be sure to use the bathroom before the appointment. Wear comfortable clothing. You can bring headphones to listen to your own music, audiobooks, and podcasts. We want you to be very comfortable and relaxed.

  • Remove contact lenses before the appointment. Contact lenses can be worn three hours after your appointment, so bring your glasses if you need them to see.

Aftercare Instructions

  • Do not wet the eyelashes during the first 24 hours

  • Brush your lashes every day, especially in the morning to smooth them out.

  • Do not use oil-based products, waterproof creams or mascara.

  • Use only water-based makeup and makeup remover.

  • Do not perm, dye, or use an eyelash curler

  • Be careful pulling your eyelashes and rubbing your eyes

  • Wash your lashes every 2-3 days schedule with a mild shampoo

  • See a trained eyelash technician to have your extensions removed

  • To extend the life of your lashes, please schedule touch-ups every 2-3 weeks.

  • Be careful with blow dryers (don't direct them at your face and eyelashes), opening a hot oven, hot yoga, and any open flame (such as a birthday candle or lighting anything nearby). The heat can cause the lashes to scorch or degrade the glue so they fall off faster.

  • Try sleeping on your back. If you can't sleep on your back you can use domed eye masks or satin/silk pillowcases.

Although we do our best to ensure that there is no reaction to the products used, it does happen sometimes. If there is swelling, redness, itching, or broken skin around the eyes, contact your provider as soon as possible to schedule an extraction. In the meantime, take allergy medicine to reduce swelling and itching. In these cases, the removal of the tabs is free of charge.
